Spring Shopping Round-up: J.Crew

No one can deny that lately, J.Crew has been really turning out great things. That made me even more excited for the introduction of their spring line.

I know they haven't released the whole spring line yet but, to be honest, the collection was a little meh. For me there weren't enough unique pieces, mostly staples. I did find a few great items that are classic American but with a little twist (zippers, tulle, oh my!)

Here are my favorites:

This sweater is a little bit sexy (depending on how low you style your zipper) and a little bit fun. I like it in this tomato-orange color.

This has "hipster" written all over it. I think that it would work as a nice layering piece and even go with jeans without looking too matchy-matchy.

Hello comfortable! This sweatshirt cardigan looks cozy enough to get me through the next few months. It would be the perfect thing to wear to brunch on the weekends.

This dress falls into the category of "Where would I wear that, but it's so pretty" It's affordable, $98, and would be great on vacations, maybe to a casual beach wedding?

I love the combination here of roughed-up metal with the ornate jewels. I am also a sucker for art deco jewels so this is a home-run for me.

How fun are these shoes?! They are a great update to the Chanel classics.

While this may look like lingerie, it is a beautiful retro swimsuit with tulle detailing. I'd imagine all of the ruching makes it quite flattering and the dark green color is so stunning!
