Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Oh what a difference sparkle makes...

Last week I received a reader question for a recommendation for a chandelier for over her square table. She sure is in luck because I love the look of chandeliers but certainly not their price tags.

Here are my recommendations for affordable chandeliers that still leave cash for decorating the rest of the apartment.

IKEA is the place to go for the most affordable options but this is a pretty small one. Best for hanging over a side table or in an entrance.

The place that really has them is Z Gallerie. You have to remember that because you are buying a product that has more components and details than say a table lamp, a chandelier is a bit more of an investment. Also, depending on the model you buy, you may need to hire an electrician to hook it up.

That being said, I really like this one. The drops and the leaves are a unique, modern touch.

I've always admired the vertical chandelier like this. It would look nice with a squared off table.

If you really want to make an impact, this one is for you. It is a little mysterious with the black but ultra-glam.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, this chandelier is very sweet, very Shabby Chic (the shades also come in 4 different colors)...

Now if all of these are giving you installing anxiety but you still want that crystal look, may I suggest the following solutions...

A wall mounted, candelabra...

Sparkly tea light holders...

A table chandelier...

Hopefully this post was helpful to everyone! Let me know if you have any more questions! I would be happy to help.
