Finding a book is so hard and very personal. I have so many half-read books that I thought I'd love, but turned into tedious stories that dragged on and on. That is why, when you find a good book, it feels like you have uncovered a treasure. I just finished reading Season of the Witch and I can't say enough good things about it. I think what made it so special for me, was the preexisting bond I have with San Francisco. I feel like knowing its dark secrets only made me appreciate it more. So it might not be for everyone, and what book really is?
Below are a few books that I haven't read yet but are on my "to read" list. I was going to try to read the much recommended "The Goldfinch" but I just am not interested in the plot (or for that matter, reading a 700+ page book) As you can see from my selection below, I tend to be attracted to historical non-fiction and fiction, as well as contemporary business/biography books. I hope there is something below that you might like. Please also feel free to send me any suggestions. Happy reading.
