Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Sometime in your twenties the wedding invites start trickling in. They come in all forms: rustic outdoors wedding, vineyard wedding, simple reception, huge Indian wedding and on and on until your fridge has no white space left. And what you come to find, after many silk dupoini bridesmaids dresses, renditions of YMCA, and signature cocktails later, are what your preferences are for your own wedding. What a wedding really is to me is one big celebration of love between two people in front of their close friends and family. That big celebration includes things that I obsess over on a daily basis like flowers, table settings and color palettes. So in reality, weddings aren't that much of a stretch for me.

This brings me to why we are talking about weddings. No, I'm not getting married. Prince Charming is still riding his horse, fixie bike or Vespa in my direction and will arrive eventually. What I am excited to share is that I am a part of a wonderful event called What's Your Something Blue. It's an event that focuses on all of the little details that are so important on the big day. Things like flowers, swimsuits for the honeymoon, stationary, jewelry… And the best part is that I will be on hand to provide tips on my favorite trends in bridal and to do a little competition (more details on that soon!) There will be lots of yummy treats and drinks too. The perfect event to go to with your girlfriends!

Here are the details:

Where: The Garden Court Hotel (an absolutely stunning place), Palo Alto
When: May 22nd, 7pm
Cost: $20

And to tie you over until then, here is a little taste of some of my bridal favorites. I hope to see you at the show in a few weeks. Also, I'll be taking over their Instagram (@whatsyoursomethingblue) on May 5th so make sure to tune in for a little specials somethin' somethin'
