A few things that are inspiring me this week…
Earl Gray Chocolate Chip Cookies
My favorite tea is Earl Gray. I just can't get enough of its bergamot-ey goodness. Therefore, Earl Gray chocolate chip cookies sound heavenly. I also love the styling on this recipe. It feels all cozy and warm, sort of like a cookie straight from the oven.
2. Lipstick Tricks for Novices
One of the biggest differences in my routine, since starting my job at Sephora, has been wearing lipstick. It instantly makes you look dressed up even if you barely had time to put on mascara. So many people are intimidated by lipstick but if you follow the easy steps Emily outlines it will help make it a little more approachable. Also, it doesn't hurt if you have an amazing lipstick.
3. Southwestern Kale Power Salad
I gotta counterbalance the cookies with a little kale! I'm a sucker for anything with sweet potatoes in it and this southwest salad checks all of the boxes--it's salty and sweet plus has a delicious-looking avocado sauce.
4. Barefoot Blonde Braid Tutorials
You know when you get ready for bed early and are all excited to feel rested in the morning, then end up getting sucked into YouTube and its 11:30? Yeah that happened to me with these amazing braid tutorials. I'll be honest that my hair didn't turn out as Elsa-worth as Amber's, but I did learn a few new techniques. These braids are perfect to practice during the weekend when you aren't in a hurry to get to work.
Have a great weekend everyone!
