Happy Cinco de Mayo folks. Today we are celebrating the unsung hero of May 5th, the jalapeño. Move over boring limes and nose-wrinkling tequila, jalapeños are my food of choice today. This round up all started with that first dish. How can you resist a candied anything, much less a candied jalapeño? Just thinking about the sweet and spiciness is making my mouth water. Then I got to thinking about how to add it to drinks, tacos (of course) and even muffins. The possibilities are endless, the only limitation is how much heat you can take.
