Admittedly this dish is best served in the winter months when you crave something cozy and comforting. In San Francisco we get our "winter months" in summer when the fog rolls in and the wool sweaters come out. Shakshuka is a traditional North African dish that is served for breakfast. I love it for dinner with some delicious crusty bread. The best part is that it's easy to make and tastes even better the next day. I followed Smitten Kitchen's recipie but the New York Times and Ottolenghi also have great recipes. I have recommended it to several friends recently so I thought I would share with you.
