Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

A SERIOUS CRUNCH

A SERIOUS CRUNCH

I have a very clear memory of the first time I made truffles. It was in my French class and we had to make desserts. This was the easiest recipe to make and it looked pretty impressive. I remember a boy in my class actually tired to melt the chocolate in his oven (boys!) They have become a favorite of mine since.

This recipe I found online is SUPER easy, as in TWO ingredients (three if you are getting fancy) and it turns out great every time. Make sure you stick with high quality chocolate to get the best results and add a little bit of ground coffee or vanilla if you want to enhance the flavor.

You can get pretty fancy with the ingredients you roll the truffles in. I chose ground up Crunchies freeze-dried strawberries because they offer the perfect tart (and pretty) compliment to the rich chocolate. I love Crunchies as a little snack, the mangoes are also a top pick.

I also love the classic coco powder and tried a little matcha powder as well to provide a little caffeine kick to them. These make the perfect treat to store in the freezer when you get that chocolate craving OR you can give them as a great easy-to-make hostess gift.

This post was in collaboration with Crunchies. Thank you for supporting the brands featured on my blog.
