4 INGREDIENT AVOCADO CHOCOLATE MOUSSE
If I told you that avocados and chocolate made the perfect dessert you would probably laugh at me. Right? But the truth is that this combo is pretty magical and tastes just as rich and creamy as its sugary, eggy, cream-based counterpart. It is perfect for treating yourself this Valentine's Day or sharing with that someone special in your life.
1 Avocado (very ripe) // 1/2 Cup Almond Milk // 1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder // 2 Tbsp Maple Syrup (to taste) OR 3-4 soaked dates // Optional: salt, raspberries or dairy-free whip to top
All you do is put the ingredients in a blender and blend away. If you want to sweeter, add more maple syrup, if you want it thinner add more almond milk. It also does set a bit in the fridge so keep that in mind. I find that because of the richness of the avocado, I only need a little serving of this mousse. I even experimented with drizzling a bit of olive oil on it with some salt and it was a-ok.
